Blackheads in skin are the dark color formation and are the result of secretion of sebum that causes hardening of the pores after accumulating there. This toxic substance in the form of a sticky gel that is a mixture of sebum, blood, and lymph fluid causes blackheads in skin. The area that is open changes its color because of corrosion and becomes black. That is why these are called blackheads in skin.
