Acne is a common skin ailment that afflicts the majority of people at some point in their life time. In most cases its minor blemishes that are associated with things like puberty, hormones and greasy skin. To the general public acne is no more than a nuisance to be dealt with using drugstore products designed to shrink and eliminate pimples. However, there are a great number of people who experience the dark side of acne and suffer from it greatly. Many chronic sufferers end up with scarring and redness left behind in the skin. Before laser treatment was available it was an unfortunate reality that sufferers had to live with. Now there is hope for acne prone and scarred people.
